Item Description
Kimuraite-(Y) is an ultra-rare hydrated calcium-yttrium-neodymium carbonate found in fissues in alkali olivine basalts. Lustrous, pastel-pink, radial lathes fill a 7 mm, well-placed vug in basalt matrix. There are few small additional crusts on the piece, which is from near the type locality. Rare and rarely on the market. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
