Item Description

Kimuraite-(Y) is a very rare hydrated REE carbonate found in fissues in alkali olivine basalt. The green arrow points toward the 1.0 cm radial spray of silky light purple scaly tabular crystals. This rare piece is from near the Type Locality. Ex. Josef Vajdak Collection.
