Item Description
A very good sized crystal of this rare borate species, an uncommon sodium-rich borate. The prismatic, thin crystal group exhibits a matte luster and good translucence along with a light silvery-white color. It should be noted that this piece came to us labeled as "Razorite" (should be Rasorite), which is the same mineral as Kernite, and named after C. M. Rasor, an engineer with the Pacific Coast Borax Company.
