Item Description

Kermesite is an uncommon antimony sulfosalt and this historic old mine is the Type Locality. Beautiful radial sprays of wine-red kermesite lathes with adamantine luster richly and dramatically cover the granular ore matrix. Classic and excellent old-time material from an East Coast collection and comes with a Hugh Ford label dating from 1946-57.
