Item Description
An attractive and very hard to specimen of this uncommon sulfate. Pickeringite is typically white/colorless from various worldwide localities, but the desirable and obscure bright pink "Kasparite" is only found at one locality. The pink is caused by the presence of Cobalt, and is certainly eye-catching. It should be noted that Kasparite is NOT a valid species, but a variety of Pickeringite. A pretty specimen of what I would say is more than just a reference specimen. PLEASE NOTE: There is an unidentified blue crystal associated with the Kasparite, possibly Anhydrite(?).
