Item Description
A really cool association specimen featuring bright yellow-orange radiating "sprays" of the rare iron arsenate Karibibite associated with sharp, smooth, gemmy, well-formed, rich silvery-blue colored blocky Scorodite crystals on matrix from the Oumlil Mine, Morocco. Karibibite obviously gets its name from the Karibib District in Namibia, which is the type locality, but the best / most well-known examples of the species are those from the Oumlil Mine. If you collect rarities, or hard to find associations, don't miss out on this really attractive miniature display specimen. The Scorodites are fine quality in their own right, but when matched up with the Karibibite, this is a really cool piece. Ex R. E. Ormston collection.
