Kammererite is the rare, chrome-rich variety of clinochlore. There is nothing that quite matches the vivid purple-red hue of kammererite as found in a series of remarkable pockets over 20 years ago at this top locality for the species, the Kop Krom Mine in Turkey. This rich and excellent plate is peppered with gorgeous, discrete, beautifully gem crystals. The striking, large, doubly terminated, pseudo-octahedral crystal is 9 mm.
