Item Description
A very hard to find, sculptural, lightweight specimen of Kalinite from this very obscure Utah locale. Kalinite is rare hydrated K-Al sulfate of questionable identity, and may actually be discredited soon. The pale yellow curved fibrous group has beautiful form and a gentle surface luster in areas. We've only had a few of these over the years, and this is certainly a very good example of a mineral that is almost unseen in today's market. From the collection of Bill Wilson, former president of Rhode Island Mineral Hunters club.
