Kainosite-(Y) is a rare hydrated REE silicate and is very uncommon from this obscure New York roadcut locality. Pink crusts of tiny microcrystals richly cover both sides of the sculptural matrix slab. RARE and rarely on the market. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection.
