Item Description

Dramatic and extremely unusual (we have only seen a handful of them) epimorphs from Malawi. The large central crystal is 4.2 cm across and .9 cm thick. All the smaller ones seem to radiate from the hub of this crystal. These two smaller rosettes are rather striking, as is the overall appearance. But the question is: who comes after who? Traditionally, this is thought of as Kainosite, Feldspar, and Quartz on aegirine, but there are many examples of Kainosite blades with a similar morphology as the underlying crystals here. So, take your pick, but either way these are remarkable and aesthetic specimens.
