K Feldspar var. Adularia w/ Chlorite (New Find)

Item Description

A very aesthetic, rich and sculptural large K Feldspar variety Adularia specimen from a NEW FIND in the Skardu District. Sharp, very glassy, highly lustrous, translucent crystals are preferentially included with green chlorite and are very artistically clustered on the well-prepared, sawed matrix plate. The two dominating opposing crystals are 3.3 and 2.8 cm tall. The sharp color-zoning on the jagged large crystal is dramatic. The many interior crystals are all pristine, with the noted bruising to some crystals on the periphery certainly being only a modest detraction. Adularia specimens of this quality are seldom on the market from Skardu and this is a very fine example.
