Julgoldite-(Fe3)

Item Description

Julgoldite-(Fe3 +) is a very rare iron silicate, seldom found anywhere, let alone at Jalgaon. When found there, the habit is acicular, radial crystals with a feathery, almost 'pine tree' appearance when examined very close up. This is only the second specimen from India that I have seen in person, and it is a very good one, especially with the largest spray being a full 1.5 cm across. Originally priced at $500.
