Item Description
We were fortunate to find one last stash of the rare hydrated calcium manganese sulfate, Jouravskite, among our few remaining flats of Charlie Key specimens. You will see these specimens in the last of the auctions, and this small cabinet piece is quite exceptional. This solid, 1.6 cm vein of Jouravskite goes completely through the rock, and it is entirely cryptocrystalline. The Jouravskite is quite translucent. This carbonate came out only rarely from the Kalahari Fields, and the unusual form, plus good quality, makes this aesthetic and highly desirable.
