Item Description
A great specimen of "Joseite" or possibly "Joseite"-B from the Goodhope Mine, British Columbia, Canada. This piece features a beatuiful, HIGHLY lustrous, brilliantly silvery-white, metallic hexagonal / trigonal crystal group on matrix. As of the time of this writing, it is unclear if Joseite-B is actually ever going to be an approved species. As of now it is a questionable/doubtful species, according to the IMA. The bismuth, tellurium sulfide is named for its relationship to Joseite (same elements with different amounts) and is possibly just sulphur-rich Pilsenite. Regardless, these specimens are beautiful and incredibly rare, and eventually they will be properly identified and described, so don't miss out on this opportunity to purchase a remarkably hard to find specimen from this lesser known Gold mine in British Columbia.
