Johachidolite (incredibly rare)

Johachidolite is named after the locality where it was first discovered, the Johachido district, Kenkyohokudo, North Korea. The finest crystals (and faceted stones) are found in Myanmar. You don't see many of these on the market, and this piece features a good quality, fairly sharp, lustrous, 8 mm crystal with a colored zoned desirable orange-yellow hue, and not a soft pale golden color like some I've seen from Myanmar measuring 8 mm across, sitting atop tenebrescent light purplish-blue colored Sodalite matrix. There's even a little Phlogopite crystal group on the side of the piece for a nice touch. If you collect rarities don't let this one get away, you don't see them very often, especially on matrix with this size and this color. Priced at $1,750 retail.
