Item Description

A great specimen featuring dozens of sharp, well-formed, golden-orange-brown colored Joaquinite-(Ce) sitting on Natrolite and Crossite matrix. The largest crystal is about 1-2 mm, but under magnification, they are clearly crystallized, and very attractive up close. The piece comes from the collection of Marty Zinn, and is a rather rich specimen with above-average sized crystals of a species that is only found from a few places in the world. This piece is from the type locality, which is obviously best known for its amazing Benitoite and Neptunite specimens. Valued at $1000.
