Item Description
Jeremejevite is a rare borate species, that is found in a few places in Namibia in fine gem blue crystals. This is important to note because Jeremejevite is typically yellow, but these localities in Namibia have produced the finest blue color crystals of the species extant. This specimen is a very attractive, gemmy, slender single crystals with a very pale blue color. The piece is not etched, as there are smooth, lustrous, well-formed faces on all sides. The termination has a small indentation where another crystal once grew. For the size and the gemminess, this is certainly a worthwhile specimen for a gem crystal collector. From the collection of Brian Kosnar.
