Item Description
Jeremejevite is a rare gem borate species. The mineral is typically yellow, but several localities in Namibia have produced the finest blue color crystals of the species extant. This specimen is a very attractive, gemmy, etched crystal with a beautiful blue color. The piece does feature some crystal faces, so it's not completely etched, and I personally enjoy the combination of the ethereal etched formations and the smooth crystal faces. For the size and the gemminess, this is certainly a worthwhile specimen for a gem crystal collector. From the collection of Carl Acosta.
