Item Description

Excellent cluster of gray-blue, prismatic Jeremejevite crystals from the modern Erongo locality for this rare species. These slender crystals have excellent luster, and the terminations are superb - beautifully formed and GEMMY! Definitely one of the more aesthetic clusters of this rare and lovely mineral that I have seen. Although the crystals from Erongo do not seem to have deep blue color as did the original find from elsewhere in Namibia some 40 years ago, this is extremely lustrous and pretty. (and affordable at a time when similar sized material from the original find sells for $20-25k for a piece like this in size).
