Item Description
Jeremejevite is a rare gem borate with the hardness of 7. The world's finest examples easily come from two localities in the Erongo Region of Namibia. This beautiful, colorful and gemmy thumbnail comes from 2010s finds at Ameib Farm 60. The glassy, lustrous, heavily etched tabular crystal has beautiful intense blue color, resembling dark aquamarine. The jagged etched terminations add much pizzazz. A superlative thumbnail from the Charlie Key Collection. Valued at $1500.
