Item Description
An old specimen of Jarosite from a locality I had not seen before. The jarosite forms as red microcrystals normally, and thus this specimen may be jarosite pseudo after calcite, or heavily investing an original mass of calcite crystals, due to the form and weight. Unusual from Nevada, in any case! This came from an old collection.
