An EXCELLENT 13-piece thumbnail fluorite collection from the Jaime Bird Collection. Most of the pieces came from the personal collection of Willard Perkins (of Perky Box fame - note his typical labels). They are are from : 7 Mexico (5 Naica & 2 Mina Ojuela); 4 English; 1 Madoc, Ontario; and 1 from Huanzala, Peru. Highlights include: English emerald-green, interpenetrating cubes sprinkled with fluorite "diamonds"; color-zoned purple octahedrons on matrix from the Heights Mine; and the gorgeous, intensely purple cubes on matrix from Mina Ojuela.
