Jade is one of the most popular "non gem quality" stones around. The material is often only translucent, but the beautiful traditional green color is what attracts collectors. This matched pair features two "pear cabochon" cut stones with a mixture of a beautiful emerald green color and white Jade. The stones are translucent for all intents and purposes. Now it's possible these stones have been treated - possibly resin filled to enhance the color - but this is a perfectly accepted practice in the Jade world as long as the buyer knows that the stone has been treated. A very attractive matched set of stone that look beautiful in person.
