Jade is one of the most popular "non gem quality" stones around. The material is often only translucent, but the beautiful traditional green color is what attracts collectors. This carved "Oval Cabochon" cut stone has a dark muted green color, and is translucent under strong light. The stone is from Wyoming, and was cut/carved overseas.
