A sawed slab from the well-known Gibeon meteorite. The fall took place in prehistoric times over a large area (strewn field) of the Hardap Region of Namibia. It is an iron meteorite (iron-nickel alloy) classified as a fine octahedrite. Classic material from the find. 26 grams mass.
