Mineral specimens from this obscure Morocco locale in the Atlas Mountains are seldom on the market. This is a striking 360-degree, sculptural cluster of sparkly, hematite-tinted, quartz stalactites. The colorless quartz crystal partition running down the center is very bizarre and really adds piazzazz! Most of the stalactites have broken tips from contacting the opposite side of the vug, but these reveal the hollow tubes where the precipitating fluids flowed. A very nifty attribute. Complete all-around and in outstanding shape, overall. It displays beautifully without aid. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this piece at $500, over five years ago.
