Iridescent Siderite w/ Pyrite & Quartz (RARE - uncommon locale)

Item Description

Mineral specimens of any type are RARE from this active Cu-Pb-Ag-Zn mine in Zacatecas and are seldom on the market. Golden-bronze spherical clusters of siderite blades have a pyschedelic range of iridescent hues on this striking and most colorful elongated specimen. One end is covered with tiny sparkly pyrite crystals and a thin quartz crystal layer underlies the crystals, adding even more pizzazz. The base has been sawed to enhance the fantastic display quality of this very fine combination Mexican rarity.
