Item Description
Iridescent, lustrous, golden-bronze, pyrrhotite crystals form an outstanding and aesthetic, bowtie shaped specimen from the Nikolaevskiy Mine. The fantastic, sharp, pseudohexagonal crystals reach 3.1 cm and one crystal is a striking cogwheel. Very nearly pristine, with only two lightly bruised corners on a secondary crystal. Dal'negorsk has produced world-class pyrrhotites and this is an extremely fine example. Ex Ed Bancroft Collection. Valued at $750
