Pyrite is relatively rare from the famous mines at Panasqueira and is REALLY RARE in this luminous, iridescent quality! Intergrown cubes have striking, rich golden and magenta iridescence and are densely clustered on the large massive quartz matrix. The back is mostly muscovite with a bit of arsenopyrite. Very fine, very bright and rare pyrite from this famous locale. BETTER IN PERSON!!
