Item Description
We had a few of these striking IRIDESCENT botryoidal Limonites for sale in the past. They come out in spurts, from small finds in China. If you missed out on getting one then this may be your last chance. Here is a LARGE double sided cabinet specimen that displays a wonderful 3D sculptural form with a shimmering metallic luster. It is highlighted by an iridescent spectral array of colors including some gold and red flash, with reddish-brown, copper, and minor green tones. The base shows the point of attachment displaying the typical earthy limonitic orange-brown to brown appearance. Note we have not seen anymore of this material in a couple years, in this size and shape, although numerous specimens with flatter, less colorful coverage has still come out. Valued at $2500.
