Item Description
Uniquely iridescent olive-green grossular garnets from a very obscurie locale in Sonora. The sharp, lustrous and translucent crystals are dodecahedrons beveled by trapezohedral faces. The two large crystals are 2.1 cm. The flashes of dayglow-orange iridescence are enthralling! A bit periphery wear is noted, but has no impact. This unique older piece was for many years part of the Pala Properties/Bill Larson Garnet Collection and was on display at their Fallbrook, California shop. Valued at $300 for rarity and color.
