Item Description
An impressive large fluorite plate from an obscure Derbyshire quarry. Lustrous, transparent to translucent, rich golden-amber fluorite cubes to 2.0 cm have stepped-growth faces. The cubes also have gorgeous, hard to photograph, multi-hued iridescence. Ex J.M. Welting Collection from the small 2008 find. A beautiful, large fluorite plate from an uncommon English locality. Striking straw-yellow fluorescence. valued $1000-1500
