Iridescent Fluorite (classic locale)

Iridescent, indigo-blue to magenta, fluorite cubes richly cover the undulating CABINET limestone matrix on this showy and classic specimen from the famous Auglaize Quarry of Junction, Ohio. The cubes are actually golden amber, but have an indigo-blue/magenta coating on them. Auglaize fluorites of this iridescent quality are so showy and are always in demand. A bit of bruising and periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detraction to the overall quality of this striking large piece. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality and displays well from either side. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
