Item Description

Iridescent, highly lustrous, black descloizite spearpoints richly cover the mounded matrix on this showy and excellent miniature from the famous Berg Aukas Mine of Namibia. Iridescent descloizite from Berg Aukas is UNCOMMON and this is a very fine example from the locality, that has produced the world"s finest descloizite. The mine closed in 1978. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
