Pretty variable iridescence, depending on the light incidence, on this showy, rich two-sided miniature of foliated covellite blades. Covellite from the Summitville Mining District is a classic and desirable Colorado species. Covellite from here is considered to be among the world's finest examples of the species, along with those from famous Butte, Montana. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection. Classic Summitville covellite.
