Butte covellite specimens are world-renowned for both quality and quantity and this is an outstanding miniature from the famous Leonard Mine. Sharp iridescent magenta plates to about 1.6 cm aesthetically line a sculptural vug in quartz with pyrite matrix. The rich iridescent color of the plates in the rosette are classic.
