Summitville, Colorado covellite of this quality is rarer than Butte covellite and is considered by many to be the finest covellite in the world. This excellent, upright, three-sided specimen features intergrown metallic plates of iridescent, golden-bronze, magenta, and peacock-blue covellite on all sides. They rest on a bit of quartz matrix.
