Item Description

An old-time, superb, combination piece from the famous Groundhog Mine at Vanadium, New Mexico. Glorious, sharp, golden iridescent chalcopyrite sphenoids to 1.3 cm are dramatically clustered on the sparkly forest of water-clear quartz points. A fine bonus are the many more smaller chalcos and quartz points on the bottom of the piece. The Scott Williams label is for a specimen acquired from the Corley Collection in 1958. These are outstanding chalcopyrites. valued $500. recently also in the Chris Cowan collection
