Item Description

Fabulously sparkly, iridescent, psychedelic golden chalcopyrite microcrystal sphenoids richly and preferentially cover the dynamically opposing pair of dogtooth calcite crystals and much of the matrix with smaller calcites on this colorful and sculptural small cabinet combination from a small early 2015 Chinese find. The two calcites are dramatically set on the edge of the matrix calcite wedge and the large calcite is 3.9 cm. The primary display side is pristine, with the gently bruised tip of the larger crystal being out-of-sight on the back. Moderate pink calcite fluorescence. Get one, when you can. The piece displays beautifully without aid.
