Item Description
Sharp, lightly iridescent, chalcocite crystals to about 1.7 cm richly cover the vuggy granular layered chalcocite matrix on this showy, highly representative small cabinet from the famous mid-1990s finds at the Flambeau Mine of Wisconsin. The crystals have moderate magenta and peacock-blue iridescence. The locale is now extinct. This is a larger and excellent example of the species and find.
