Item Description

Iranite is an ultra rare lead, copper, chromate and this fine combination thumbnail is from a very small abandoned lead-silver mine in Chile. Lustrous, brown iranite blades richly cover the matrix and are stikingly complimented by a beautiful cluster of riveting, cherry-red, chromian wulfenite crystals at the top of the piece. This rarely available specimen was collected by Terry Szenics (Szenicsite), a very well-known South American field collector .
