Inyoite (rare locale)

Item Description

Inyoite is a rare hydroxyl hydrated borate found in evaporite deposits. Specimens are RARE from this obscure dry lake and salt dome deposite compared to other rare borates found here. This is a solid mass of intergrown, lustrous and translucent snow-white crystals. Rare, rich and excellent material from this uncommon locale. From a Russian suite we purchased at Tucson about ten years ago, of historical specimens!
