Item Description
A super CABINET specimen of water-clear, "invisible", fluorite crystals from the famous Nikolaevskiy Mine. The aesthetically lined up, cuboctahedral crystals reach 3.2 cm on the interestingly tiered matrix. Some of the fluorite crystal faces are frosted, which adds character. A real bonus on the back is a rich covering of flattened, low rhombohedral, calcite crystals. All of the fluorites are pristine on this very fine, contemporary classic specimen. Ex Alain Martaud Collection, a well-known French fluorite specialist and dealer. Valued at $1500-2000.
