Item Description
An elegant cluster of three intergrown morganite crystals is aesthetically perched on tourmaline sections on this very fine combination from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. The gemmy to translucent, tabular, hexagonal crystals have beautiful apricot color and high glassy luster. Most faces are glass-clear, with some being lightly frosted, which is typical for morganites from this well-known area. The piece displays nicely from either direction. In great shape, overall. The side of the large morganite is contacted, with no damage, per se and is out-of-sight in the display views. Valued by Herb at $1500, more than six years ago. It is worth more today. Classic and excellent Afghanistan morganite.
