Inesite with Orange Prehnite and Apophyllite

A beautiful and fine combination piece of featuring Inesite, Apophyllite and orange Prehnite. The Inesites have formed in fine, rare discrete crystals, and I found one that measures a whopping 1.7 cm. They have very good luster, and are an interesting and attractive Persian Red color. A few small clusters of thin tabular, gemmy orange Prehnite blades can be seen on the piece as well. The abundant sparkling, colorless Apophyllites are amazing. They range from prismatic / blocky to acicular in habit, and they look like a field of gems. This is a very unusual piece from a small pocket of rich red Inesite/orange Prehnite found in 1999-2000. An aesthetic and rare combination piece. Keep in mind that Prehnite is much more commonly seen at the Wessels Mine, and orange Prehnite is rare from N'Chwaning.
