Inesite, Hubeite (TL), Quartz, and Apophyllite

Item Description

An aesthetic combination piece from the famous Daye Mine of China. The Inesite is associated with the ULTRA-RARE silicate Hubeite (for which this is the Type Locality), Apophyllite, and Quartz. This centerpiece of this showy specimen is a very attractive 1.5 cm spray of cinammon-colored Inesite, in line with three smaller crystals, on a very rich druse of fine dark brown Hubeite crystals and creme-colored Apophyllite microcrystals. The glassy, Quartz crystal matrix is also richly and attractively covered on the bottom with superb, lustrous Hubeites to 0.5 cm and a very lustrous 1.2 cm Inesite spray. A cute specimen of combo material from this famous mine.
