An VERY FINE and AESTHETIC specimen of lustrous, pink inesite crystals to 1.0 cm filling a vug jauntily set atop matrix from the famous Hale Creek Mine in California. For sharp, euhedral crystals, these inesites are unmatched crystallographically by the spiky elongated crystals coming from China and South Africa, I would say. Ex Al McGuinness Collection, a noted California collector and dealer, who died in 1990.
