Item Description
Inesite from this remote, Northern California mine is quite rare on the market today and only shows up in old USA collections. This is a particularly elegant example with a rich pink color and beautiful, sharp crystals to just over 1 cm. For a miniature sized example., it is about as good as they got. It probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s and was in Jack's collection by the 1980s. We are honored to present another lot of deaccessions to auction from the collection of Jack Halpern of San Francisco, as featured in the Mineralogical Record, March 2005.
