A fascinating, dramatically sculptural and aesthetic indicolite tourmaline and smoky quartz small cabinet combination from Minas Gerais. Beautiful gemmy and lustrous teal-blue indicolites are artistically set in both sides of the striking, doubly terminated euhedral light smoky quartz crystal. All four of the larger tourmalines are terminated, including the largest, at 4.1 cm, which is doubly terminated. The impressive smoky is essentially pristine and is transparent with satin lustre faces. The noted contacting has very little actual damage. Probably from the Sao Jose da Safira area, near the famous Pederneiria Mine. A remarkable tourmaline and smoky quartz combination from Brazil.
