Indicolite Tourmaline w/ Lepidolite

A beautiful and sculptural Pederneira indicolite tourmaline aesthetically accented with lepidolite crystals. The highly lustrous, well-striated, parallel-growth crystals are gemmy-translucent. Lower sections are classic rich teal-blue with a 4 mm teal-green gemmy area below the matte very dark purple to black pinacoid termination of the large crystal. The piece glows, when backlit. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. Very gentle edge wear to the termination and a contacted edge to the side car, with no damage, are noted, but have negligible impact to the excellent quality of this very showy 360-degree indicolite. 30 grams mass. A classic Pederneira indicolite.
